BYE BYE TSUNAMI

A group of individuals who thrive in uncertainty and find delight in the entropy of noise: willing to realize their life dream of forming a dysfunctional boy band, they finally give birth to BYE BYE TSUNAMI: monsters giving birth to other monsters. Scavenging the distressing remnants of a future no one wished for, BYE BYE TSUNAMI are redefining the new era of post-real.

Lorenzo Colocci – flaubosax, flute, electronics
Jan Kardereit – drums

FLAVIA HUARACHI

As a musician and performance artist, Flavia Huarachi has always been passionate about the diversity of human expressions, perceptions, and epistemologies. Coming from two very different cultures, she combines the folkloric and spiritual aspects of music in her homeland Bolivia with her classical and contemporary upbringing in Western music approaches.

Flavia’s music and performances all carry the same intention of knitting, with a strong presence, the different cultural perceptions of what music is, to create challenging and immersive experiences for her audience.

Flavia Huarachi – voice, flutes, percussion

ARCANEPUNK

Manifestation of modern-day madness, where lines are blurred, edges are sharp and everything in your hands slips from the normal into the arcane.
Arcanepunk shapes the music upon consistent grooves, repetitive, monumental basslines and soothing melodies, inviting the listeners into both highly energetic and mesmerizing place

Aurelijus Užameckis – bass
Michaela Turcerová – bass clarinet / sax
Luka Zabric – sax
Simon Albertsen – drums
Tomás Gubbins – guitar

HEIN WESTGAARD TRIO (NO/DK)

Playing their very own kind of experimental music, Hein Westgaard Trio is clearly inspired by jazz, but also by country, rock, folk, free improvisation and classical music. The trio manages to translate all these elements into a unique form, where the boundary between the composed and improvised becomes blurred.

The three musicians of Hein Westgaard Trio started playing together in Copenhagen in 2017 and since then they have deepened and matured their unique form of interplay, preparing themselves for the international stage. In September 2023 they released their debut record “First as Farce” to positive reviews, and in support of the album they played a 16-concert tour with concerts in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Germany.

Hein Westgaard – Guitar, Composition
Petter Asbjørnsen – Double Bass
Simon Forchhammer – Drums

JIMINI (DE/DK/NO)

In Jiminis’ music, the ego is subordinated, and the narrative is in focus. The band takes the listener on a playful journey, exploring the airy format of the saxophone trio: They blend the sound of traditional jazz with spacious textures and harmonies as they float between their lyrical songs like from island to island.

The band started in 2021 at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory and consists of Ivar Myrset Asheim from Norway on drums (Andreas Røysum Ensemble), the German saxophonist Jon Sensmeier (ALIGAGA), and the Danish bassist Martin Brunbjerg Rasmussen (Little North, Nana Rashid). They released their debut album “Scheinriese” on CRRNT Records in february 2024 and are working on their next record for the fall.
