15:00 – 18:00 Workshop by Aurelijus Užameckis: Writings, images and sounds of the unconscious

Musicians and other performing artists are invited to explore new ways of expression through a creative workshop. Designed for both beginners and professionals, the workshop focuses on uncovering individual and collective improvisational expressions, and finding coherence between the ‘expresser’ and the ‘expression’ through exploration of the unconscious. Participants will engage in exercises involving writing, painting, and performing, inspired by the work of Carl G. Jung, Nise da Silveira, and others, who have deepened knowledge about the unconscious and bridged the gap between therapeutic practice and artistic expression.
participation free of charge!

18:00 Community Dinner

Price is donation-based (we suggest 40 kr.); we will prepare a delicious vegetarian dinner for approximately 25 people. (first come, first serve :))

20:00 Hardening the jaws of tenderness
Hardening the jaws of tenderness is a project based on exploring the complex relationship and connections between two art forms, and two people on stage. Recent political events have shown the monstrosity of human beings and influenced the intensity of the piece and the choices made by the performers. The deformation of the faces loses the host between emotion, play and expression.
Throughout the performance, the form blends the concepts of trembles, loops, improvisation and composition. The reciprocity in the process of creation is here an important tool and statement: a choreographed sequence is a starting point for a musical part, and vice versa.
Paulina Rewucka : movement
Rémy Gouffault : drums, electronics

21:00 Dabai Bėgam
Ugnė Makselytė, also known as Davai Bėgam, performs experimental electronic, musique concrète, noise, ambient, and dance electronic music. Live improvisation, field recordings and various processing techniques play a crucial role in her creative process, allowing her to delve into the experience of listening, while also altering and losing the perception of the sound source. Davai Bėgam invites listeners to explore their inner selves through organic and meditative noise that sometimes may appear as music.

22:00 Children of Fish
Children of Fish is an international trio consisting of three friendly creatures – Malina Midera, Petter Asbjørnsen and Jēkabs Rēders. We are united by the desire for mutual understanding and free expression in music as well as in life, so our music radiates joy, freedom, and complex simplicity. Our shared roots in jazz music as well each band member’s individual interest in what the current time offers is reflected in the group’s cross-genre expression, the use of acoustic and electronic instruments, as well as in the attitude with which we treat reality and each other.
Malina Midera (PL) – Synths, piano
Petter Asbjørnsen (NO) – Bass, electronics
Jēkabs Rēders (LV) – Drums, percussion
