As a musician and performance artist, Flavia Huarachi has always been passionate about the diversity of human expressions, perceptions, and epistemologies. Coming from two very different cultures, she combines the folkloric and spiritual aspects of music in her homeland Bolivia with her classical and contemporary upbringing in Western music approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flavia’s music and performances all carry the same intention of knitting, with a strong presence, the different cultural perceptions of what music is, to create challenging and immersive experiences for her audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trio manages to translate all these elements into a unique form, where the boundary between the composed and improvised becomes blurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The three musicians of Hein Westgaard Trio started playing together in Copenhagen in 2017 and since then they have deepened and matured their unique form of interplay, preparing themselves for the international stage. In September 2023 they released their debut record “First as Farce” to positive reviews, and in support of the album they played a 16-concert tour with concerts in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hein Westgaard – Guitar, Composition
