\u2026 is the musical expression of the CRRNT Collective. We have performed at various events in Copenhagen and abroad, including residencies in Italy, Slovenia\/Croatia and Lithuania. Our music is shaped by the diverse musical backgrounds of our members, who compose music inspired by jazz, traditional music from Bolivia, the Balkans, and the Baltics, free improvisation, textual work, and experimental sounds.
This diversity shapes our identity as a band, making each performance a reflection of both our individual voices and our shared explorations. Undercurrent is both a melting pot and a sounding board\u2014a space where our music grows from the intersections of our experiences and our dedication to collective creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year started off with a creative residency of Undercurrent at Kaunas Artist House in Lithuania. From January 17th to 24th, we not only created on new music for our group, but also collaborated with five local artists to work on their composition and performance ideas. To conclude this residency, we presented songs, improvisations, electronic and acoustic soundscapes, and two performative pieces at Sodas 2123 in Vilnius, and at Kaunas Artist House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
